The Personal Theater of Collective Anxieties

This is an ongoing project, performed as ad hoc commentaries on news, American culture, and political situations using toy theater and collage. Most frequently performed in puppet slams, it is a continuation of the traditional relationship between puppetry and ongoing current events to communicate complicated emotions about goings on, inspired by Great Small Works’ Terror As Usual.

This project is currently being expanded into a longer form show, and has been developed in residence at Hambidge Center for the Arts.
