The Everywhere In Between

The Everywhere In Between

In a six-month residency with Puppet Lab supported by the Jerome Foundation, I created The Everywhere In Between, a show about depression, trains, and my grandfather. In this show, a woman waits for a train she (mostly) knows will never arrive. With only the security cameras in the abandoned station left to communicate with, she opens suitcases and tells stories. This show uses toy theater, model trains, and live streamed projection.

This piece was directed by Masa Kawahara and created in a cohort with the most wonderful collaborators: Maggie Arbeiter, Fletcher Wolfe, Erica Warren, and David Hanzal. It featured music by Emily Kastrul of the band Sister Species.
