It Has Its Ups and Downs

Created as part of the November 2024 Full Moon Puppet Show, this is a short-form work which uses rod puppets, pulleys, and toy theater to tell the story of a young woman’s first day on the job as an elevator operator. This work has been featured at the Chicago International Puppet Theater Festival’s Nasty Brutish and Short Puppet Slam, and has been displayed at the Ballard Institute and Museum of Puppetry.
